Searches such as "Kemo IPTV", "Krooz TV", "Strong 8K" or "Apollo Group TV" usually lead to sales pages rather than independent information. For most of these names we could not find an authoritative source that identifies who runs the service, what rights it holds or which website is genuine — and at least one name has been linked to anti-piracy enforcement. The useful question is therefore not "is this brand good?" but "can I verify anything about the website in front of me?"
This guide explains what can and cannot be verified about the IPTV brand names people search for most, why identical names appear on many different websites, and a checklist you can apply to any IPTV brand before paying. XCode IPTV 8K is not affiliated with any of the services mentioned here.
Why IPTV brand names are hard to research
With mainstream TV services, a brand name points to one company with a registered address, published terms and a history of news coverage. Many IPTV subscription brands work differently:
- The same name appears on many domains. A search on 3 October 2026 returned several websites each presenting itself as the official site for Krooz TV, and at least five separate websites presenting themselves as the official Strong 8K service.
- Resellers rebrand the same service. A single underlying service may be sold under several names, and a single name may be used by several unrelated sellers.
- Affiliate pages dominate results. Many "review" pages earn commission from the services they describe, and few explain how anything was tested.
- Websites change frequently. Domains appear, disappear and redirect, so information goes out of date quickly.
That means any article claiming to describe "the" channel list, price or device support for one of these brands is usually repeating one seller's marketing. We have deliberately not done that.
What we could verify, brand by brand
The table summarises what we could and could not establish from reliable sources as of October 2026.
| Name searched | What we could verify | What we could not verify |
|---|---|---|
| Apollo Group TV | TorrentFreak reported in December 2021 that the domain apollogroup.tv was among IPTV domains targeted by the MPA and ACE anti-piracy coalition | Current operator, current domains, licensing |
| Strong IPTV / Strong 8K | Multiple websites sell "Strong 8K" subscriptions; none we found states a link to STRONG, the European set-top box maker | Operator, licensing, which site (if any) is original |
| Krooz TV | Several websites use the name and present themselves as official | Operator, licensing, which site is original |
| Sky IPTV | Sky's own IPTV services in the UK include Sky Glass and Sky Stream | Any link between Sky and third-party "Sky IPTV" sellers (we found none) |
| Prime IPTV | The name resembles Amazon's Prime Video | Any link to Amazon (we found none) |
| Kemo IPTV / Kemo TV, Xtreme HD IPTV, Lemo TV, Tivistation, Monster IPTV, Falcon IPTV, Catch On TV | The names are used by IPTV sellers online | Operators, licensing, device support, prices — no authoritative sources found |

Apollo Group TV and anti-piracy enforcement
The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) is a coalition of studios and streaming companies that takes action against online piracy (Wikipedia (opens in a new tab)). In December 2021, TorrentFreak reported (opens in a new tab) that apollogroup.tv was among a list of IPTV and streaming domains targeted by the MPA and ACE, describing it as the domain for the provider Apollo Group TV.
A report of enforcement activity is not a court ruling on every website that uses a similar name today. It is, however, a strong reason to research carefully before paying anyone trading under that name — and a reminder that services without the rights to what they show can disappear without notice. Our guide Is IPTV legal? explains the legal background.
Strong IPTV, Strong 8K and the STRONG brand
"Strong" causes particular confusion. STRONG (opens in a new tab) is a consumer-electronics company that launched in Europe in 1986 and became part of the SKYWORTH Digital Group in 2015; it sells set-top boxes, TVs and Android-based streaming devices. "Strong 8K" or "Strong IPTV 8K" subscriptions, by contrast, are sold by a range of websites, and none of the ones we found states any connection to that company.
If you want hardware from the electronics brand, buy it from its official channels or established retailers. If you are looking at a "Strong 8K" subscription, treat the seller as an unknown company and apply the checklist below. Search variations such as "strong iptv 8k", "strong 8k iptv" and "iptv strong 8k" all lead to the same kind of reseller pages.
Sky IPTV and Prime IPTV: borrowed names
Some IPTV brands borrow well-known names. In the UK, Sky's own TV-over-broadband products include Sky Glass and Sky Stream (Wikipedia (opens in a new tab)) — those are what "Sky over IPTV" means when Sky sells it. A third-party seller offering "Sky IPTV" is not Sky, whatever the branding suggests.
Similarly, "Prime IPTV" has no connection to Amazon's Prime Video (opens in a new tab) that we could find. Borrowed names are worth noticing because they are designed to feel familiar and trustworthy.
Kemo IPTV, Krooz TV and other names we could not verify
For Kemo IPTV (also searched as Kemo TV), Krooz TV, Xtreme HD IPTV, Lemo TV, Tivistation, Monster IPTV, Falcon IPTV and Catch On TV, we found sellers' websites and affiliate articles but no authoritative source — no regulator listing, reputable news report or company registration — that establishes who operates them, what rights they hold, or which website is the original.
Two points help avoid confusion:
- Tivistation is not TiviMate. TiviMate is a well-known IPTV player app for Android TV; it plays playlists you add and does not provide content. Our TiviMate guide explains it.
- Similar names are not the same service. "Kemo IPTV" on one domain and "Kemo TV" on another may or may not be related. Assume they are separate until proven otherwise.
If you are researching reviews of these names — for example "Catch On TV reviews" — our guide to judging IPTV reviews and Reddit threads explains how to separate genuine feedback from promotion.
A 10-point checklist for any IPTV brand
Use this before paying any IPTV seller, whatever the name.
- Who operates it? Look for a company name, registration number and address in the terms or footer. Check the registration with the official business register for that country.
- Which website is genuine? If several sites use the same name, ask each one to explain the relationship. Be wary of sites that only say "official".
- What rights does it hold? A legitimate service can explain how it licenses the channels it sells. Read how to choose an IPTV provider for what good answers look like.
- Are there written terms? Terms of service, a privacy policy and a refund policy should exist before you pay.
- How do you pay? Prefer payment methods with buyer protection. Untraceable-only payment is a red flag.
- Is there a trial? Test reliability on your own devices first — see how IPTV free trials work.
- Which apps does it require? Official app stores are safer than unknown APK downloads — see IPTV APK safety.
- Are the numbers plausible? Huge channel and film counts at very low prices often indicate content distributed without permission.
- What do independent sources say? Look for regulator warnings, news reports or court records, not just review pages.
- Can you contact a person? Ask a specific question and judge the answer before you pay.
If you cannot answer most of these questions, walking away is the sensible choice.
What legitimate alternatives look like
Licensed IPTV is common: public broadcasters' apps, pay-TV services delivered over broadband, and free ad-supported channels all count. Our explainer on FAST channels and the guide to free IPTV and public playlists cover free, lawful options. For paid services, transparency about the operator, prices, terms and support is the minimum to expect.
How XCode IPTV 8K approaches this
We would rather you judged any service — including ours — by what you can check. XCode IPTV 8K publishes its plan prices, terms of service and refund and cancellation policy, and offers a free 24-hour trial. XCode IPTV 8K is not connected to, and does not resell, any brand named in this article.
Summary
Names like Kemo IPTV, Krooz TV, Strong 8K, Apollo Group TV, Xtreme HD IPTV and similar are mostly sold through many look-alike websites, with little reliable public information about who runs them or what rights they hold. Apollo Group TV's former domain was reported as an MPA/ACE target; "Strong" and "Sky" names borrow from unrelated established brands. Rather than relying on a brand name, check the operator, terms, payment protection, licensing and support of the specific website you are using — and walk away if those basics are missing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kemo IPTV the same as Kemo TV?
Both names are used online for IPTV subscriptions, but we could not find an authoritative source that establishes a single company behind either name. Treat each website as a separate seller until it proves otherwise.
Is Strong IPTV made by the STRONG set-top box company?
We found no evidence of a connection. STRONG is a European consumer-electronics brand that makes set-top boxes; 'Strong 8K' IPTV subscriptions are sold by various websites that do not state any link to it.
Is 'Sky IPTV' a Sky product?
Not unless it is sold by Sky. Sky's own TV-over-broadband products in the UK include Sky Glass and Sky Stream. Third-party 'Sky IPTV' offers are not Sky services.
Is XCode IPTV 8K connected to any of these brands?
No. XCode IPTV 8K has no affiliation with any service named in this article.
